Job Description: 

Job Summary

  • Own and deliver end-to-end financial reporting processes, including consolidation, financial statement preparation, and disclosures, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with group accounting standards (TFRS/IFRS)
  • Drive financial reporting strategy and transformation, including adoption of AI/automation, to enhance efficiency, data quality, and reporting insights across the finance function
  • Support functional owner of financial reporting, providing accounting guidance, governance, and decision support to ensure compliance and enable high-quality financial and management reporting

Job Responsibilities*

  • Own and oversee end-to-end financial reporting processes, including month-end and year-end closing, consolidation, financial statement preparation, and disclosures, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in line with group standards and reporting timelines, while driving adoption of automation and digital tools across reporting processes
  • Be accountable for financial reporting governance across entities, ensuring compliance with TFRS/IFRS, SEC requirements, and internal policies, and providing guidance on complex accounting issues, consolidation treatments, and reporting judgments
  • Review and analyze financial results at consolidated and entity levels, identifying variances and key drivers, and delivering insightful financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making and enhance financial transparency
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards, maintaining strong internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and ensuring audit readiness across financial reporting processes
  • Act as a key representative of the financial reporting function, engaging with cross-functional teams, business finance, external auditors, and internal audit, and supporting discussions with senior leadership (e.g., CFO) on financial results and reporting matters
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of financial reporting processes across entities, including consolidation, reporting packages, and disclosures, leveraging technology, AI, and automation to enhance efficiency and consistency
  • Collaborate with GL, consolidation, and finance teams to ensure alignment across reporting activities, and contribute to capability building in financial reporting, digital tools, and data-driven insights

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/ master’s in accounting
  • Up to 10 years’ experience in accounting field
  • CPA required
  • Expertise in SAP
  • AI capabilities
  • Strong in accounting principles, GAAP, SEC requirement and IFRS
  • Clear and effective communication with team
