Job Summary

To plan, define standards and guidelines, and design the Core Transport DWDM/ASON network to support Mobile, Broadband, and Corporate Data services, ensuring nationwide coverage in alignment with company objectives and meeting high-bandwidth enterprise customers.

To evaluate and manage end-to-end project budgets and outcome. To oversee vendor & supplier performance and govern Managed Service Providers and business partners.

To provide technical advisory in procurement processes and contract development to ensure optimal technical and commercial outcomes.

Job Responsibilities*

• Own Core Transport DWDM/ASON network design and capacity planning
• Research technology trend and develop technical requirement to match business’s needs
• Write and approve technical specification as well as acceptance criteria
• Assess vendors’ proposal. Identify Pros and Cons
• Gather requirement from both internal and external customer.  Create High Level Design and plan for capacity expansion. Summarize the scope and cost estimation
• Finalize BOQ and proceed purchasing in parallel with shipment plan
• Lead across-function with authority on Core Transport DWDM/ASON vendor & supplier performance management (including their projects) and governance of Managed Service Providers and business partners
• Set priorities and allocate resources across projects regarding Core Transportation DWDM/ASON budget planning and management 
• Expert on contract and procurement in technical part

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a Related Field
• 8 years in Transmission planning, 5 years in Project implementation and management
• Advanced transmission technology
• Basic Mobile 5G knowledge
• Basic Broadband FTTx knowledge
• Good command on both English and Thai
