Job Summary
This role is responsible for the governance, prioritization, and oversight of a portfolio of strategic business initiatives—focusing on the areas of business such as consumer business, customer experience, B2B, Home connectivity and digital. The role will work closely with business unit leaders (CxO and N-2) to ensure that our most critical projects are delivered on time and achieve their intended strategic and commercial outcomes.
The position requires applying strong expertise in portfolio and project management to support decisions, align functions, and focus resources on high-impact initiatives. It also involves anticipating risks, solving challenges, and applying practices that enhance execution.
Responsibilities include planning, monitoring progress, managing stakeholders, aligning operating models, identifying improvements, and project management. The role is expected to work independently, influence senior stakeholders, and turn strategy into measurable results.
Key covered functions: Business functions (mainly consumer business, customer experience, B2B, Home connectivity and digital ), and the projects with cross-functional nature. This includes initiatives across multiple domains, requiring governance discipline and ongoing engagement.
Job Responsibilities*
- Strategic Portfolio Management:
- Act as a strategic PMO to drive the organization-wide cross-functional strategic/transformation projects. Align the project direction, strategic decisions, and the resources with with the CXOs, STECO, and relevant N
- And lead the cross functional teams to deliver the project as planned.
- Provide a holistic view of the business project portfolio, identifying interdependencies, managing risks, and resolving cross-functional conflicts.
- Governance and Execution Excellence:
- Establish and enforce a robust PMO framework, standardized methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), tools, and best practices for business projects.
- Act as control tower to follow up and track the progress of the projects. Continuously analyze and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as the central point of quality control, ensuring all projects adhere to governance standards and have clear scope, deliverables, and success metrics (KPIs).
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior leadership and business unit heads, acting as a trusted advisor on all portfolio matters.
- Develop and present clear, concise, and insightful progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to the leadership team.
- Champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and execution excellence across all project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field; business-related or engineering are preferred
- Minimum 5 years in Sales/Marketing/Business Development/Product Management/Finance
- Management consulting experience is a strong plus
- Experience working on cross-functional strategic initiatives and exposure to senior stakeholder engagement is an advantage
- Background in the telecommunications, technology, or digital industry is preferred
- PMP and/or Scrum Master certification is a strong plus
- Track record of driving results and leading execution on cross-functional complex projects from project plans, tracking and communication
- Able to handle multiple priorities, work independently, think strategically, and manage multiple issues under the pressure of conflicting constraints and limited resources
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools and data analytic preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to get buy in from senior leaders
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills both Thai and English
