Job Description
Job Title:  Specialist, Process Simplification & Automation
Posting Start Date:  07/09/2026
Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for leading business process design, workflow simplification, and managing end-to-end process transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency and user experience. This role focuses on discovering, analyzing, and documenting business processes using process mining tools to establish and maintain the enterprise Process Repository. To-Be workflows—determining the appropriate process model, whether leveraging rule-based automation (RPA), generative/agentic AI capabilities, or retaining human-in-the-loop controls.

Job Responsibilities*

  • Process Mining & Repository Management: Utilize Celonis and process mapping methodologies to discover, map, and document As-Is processes, maintaining the enterprise Process Repository and identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and optimization opportunities
  • Process & Automation Feasibility Evaluation: Analyze process maturity and operational requirements to determine the optimal workflow approach—evaluating whether a process is best suited for RPA, GenAI, Agentic AI, or requires Human-in-the-Loop governance.
  • To-Be Process Design & Prototyping: Design streamlined To-Be processes, user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and interaction models to deliver intuitive, frictionless human-system workflows.
  • End-to-End Process Project Management: Manage full project lifecycles (scope, timeline, resources, risks) and collaborate with IT and technical delivery teams for solution integration, workflow testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • System Rollout & Change Management: Lead the deployment and configuration of sales enablement, retail, and internal process workflows across channels, ensuring smooth operational transition, user training, and process adoption.
  •  Requirement Engineering & Business Case Analysis: Gather user requirements and translate complex business pain points into detailed functional specifications, process flows, User Stories, and ROI-focused business cases for implementation teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Process Design, Business Analysis, or Process Transformation Project Management. Proven track record in managing end-to-end process project lifecycles, process mapping/mining, requirement engineering, and evaluating automation/AI technology capabilities for business process improvements.
  • Process Mining / Management: Celonis Certified Professional, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or BPMN Certification (High Advantage).
  • Project Management / Agile: PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent (High Advantage).
  • Technology & Automation: UiPath/RPA certifications or Business Analysis certifications (CBAP/CCBA) (Plus)
  • Process Mining & Modeling: Hands-on experience with Celonis (or equivalent Process Mining tools like Signavio, ARIS) for process discovery, bottleneck analysis, and repository management.
  • Process Architecture & Tech Evaluation: Strong capability to analyze processes and evaluate the right technology fit—distinguishing between RPA (rule-based), GenAI/Agentic AI capabilities (unstructured data/reasoning), and Human-in-the-Loop (human approval/control).
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English with confident communication skills in native-speaker environments.
