Job Summary

The Group Head – Social & Content oversees True’s social media strategy, content ecosystem, and platform governance across all official channels. This role focuses on driving brand relevance, engagement, and content excellence while managing a lean in-house team and optimizing agency collaboration.

Job Responsibilities*

1.Social Strategy & Governance

•            Lead social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, TikTok, IG, X, YouTube).

•            Build content frameworks, narrative structures, and platform roles.

•            Maintain True’s brand voice, identity, and content governance guidelines.

2.Team Leadership

•            Supervise and mentor the in-house social team (strategist, editor, content lead).

•            Elevate content quality and accelerate speed of execution and approvals.

•            Ensure the team focuses on strategic content planning rather than heavy execution.

3.Agency & Creator/Presenter/KOL Management

•            Lead and optimize agency workflows for high-volume content production.

•            Supervise community management, social listening, and real-time content creation.

•            Manage creator/presenter/KOL partnerships in collaboration with media/performance teams.

4.Performance Optimization

•            Work closely with Performance & Analytics Manager to review KPIs, insights, and platform performance.

•            Make data-driven recommendations for content improvements.

5.Innovation & Platform Excellence

•            Identify emerging trends on TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and new formats.

•            Champion breakthrough content ideas and pilots.

 6.Budget Oversight & Integration

•            Oversee budgets through strategic allocation, cost control, and ROI tracking, while fostering synergy and integration across internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years in social media, content creation, or digital strategy with at least 1-2 years experience managing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of platform best practices and social storytelling.
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong creative judgment and strategic thinking.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
