Job Summary
This role supports the GCEO through high-quality strategic advisory, deep market–customer intelligence, enterprise-level project leadership, and executive communication. The role delivers data-driven insights, leads CEO priority projects end-to-end, and produces decision-ready materials that strengthen the company’s strategic direction and business performance.
Job Responsibilities*
Advise CEO on enterprise strategy through market & customer intelligence and P&L insights
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO by providing recommendations on enterprise-level strategic choices grounded in customer insight, market dynamics, and P&L impact.
- Analyze and highlight key gaps, opportunities, and risks for the CEO ahead of market visits, including customer pain points, competitive positioning, and business performance implications.
- Build and maintain a structured market & customer intelligence system, including recurring outside-in scans, customer/segment insights, competitor watch, and monitoring of regulatory and macro-economic signals.
- Collect and synthesize data and qualitative insight from external sources (e.g., customer interviews, partners, industry experts, reports) to generate a holistic outside-in view that goes beyond BU-level perspectives.
- Serve as a “think tank” for the CEO on assigned topics, providing rapid analysis, scenario options, and insight-driven viewpoints to support decisions on key projects and strategic programs.
Own & lead priority CEO strategic projects end-to-end
- Lead and manage CEO-assigned strategic projects across multiple entities (e.g., Ascend, Thana, TDG), ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, P&L impact, and long-term strategic moves.
- Drive key initiatives such as Mordee growth strategy, Krungsri banking partnership, and early-stage M&A idea exploration, from problem definition and analysis to solution recommendation and execution tracking.
- Structure project scopes, milestones, risks, and success indicators, ensuring clear governance and progress visibility for the CEO.
- Coordinate closely with CXOs and senior executives as primary stakeholders, enabling alignment, decision-making, and issue resolution across all workstreams.
- Conduct necessary research, financial analysis, stakeholder interviews, and market assessments to support strong business cases and CEO decision readiness.
Produce board-quality CEO memos, briefs, and executive presentations
- Develop high-quality CEO memos, narrative decks, decision notes, and executive presentations that clearly articulate strategic context, business implications, and recommended actions.
- Prepare pre-reads and pre-meeting briefs for CEO, summarizing project progress, critical issues, key decisions required, and enterprise-level trends affecting the company.
- Translate complex analysis into concise, evidence-based insights with clear messaging, structured reasoning, and well-supported recommendations.
- Ensure all materials include explicit next steps, accountable owners, milestones, and timelines to enable fast, informed decision-making.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and executive-level storytelling suitable for Board members, CXOs, and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Economics, Strategy, Finance, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in strategy and/or commercial roles such as management consulting, corporate strategy, business unit strategy, or commercial excellence.
- 2–3 years of frontline commercial or operational execution experience, with proven ability to translate strategy into on-the-ground results.
- Demonstrated P&L understanding and a track record of delivering initiatives that drive revenue growth, margin improvement, or overall business performance.
- Exposure to the telecom, technology, or digital ecosystem strongly preferred, with the ability to navigate fast-changing markets and emerging business models.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working directly with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- MBA, or equivalent senior‑level strategy/commerce credentials.
- Strategy toolkit: Market sizing, segmentation, competitive analysis, portfolio strategy, scenario planning.
- Commercial & P&L acumen: Pricing, unit economics, CLV, channel economics, cost‑to‑serve, investment trade‑offs.
- CEO‑level memos and presentations; sharp synthesis and storytelling.
- Execution leadership: Sprint design, OKRs, governance, benefit tracking; influence without authority.
- Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (advanced); Power BI/Tableau and SQL/Python (nice-to-have)
- Domain: Understanding of telco/tech economics (ARPU, churn, network capex, spectrum/licensing) preferred
