Job Summary
The International Business - Wholesale team is responsible for managing and expanding the entire international roaming portfolio. The role involves managing partnerships, maintaining strong relationships with over 700 international partners worldwide, negotiating commercial terms and agreements to ensure competitive pricing and maximum benefits for the company, optimizing roaming coverage, and ensuring the seamless execution of services to enhance the customer experience.
Job Responsibility
- Business Strategy: Involved in the development and end-to-end implementation of International Business - Wholesale strategies to optimize international roaming revenues and enhance customer satisfaction. This includes identifying key business growth drivers, creating roadmaps, managing P&L/revenue, and overseeing portfolio management with differentiated propositions, commercial planning, and partnership management to achieve defined goals.
- Partnership Management: Lead end-to-end partnership management, including establishing and maintaining strong relationships with international partners to ensure seamless roaming services.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for wholesale roaming agreements, securing favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Regulatory and Legal Compliance: Ensure full compliance with international telecommunication regulations, laws, and standards.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends within the international business landscape.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze roaming performance, including usage, quality, and financial metrics, and implement improvements as needed. Prepare and present regular performance reports and insights to key stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., International Business – Retail, Revenue Management, Finance, Accounting, Regulatory, Legal, Network, Technical Operations/IT) to ensure the successful implementation of roaming and voice agreements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Commercial, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in telecom, marketing, commercial, sales, or a relevant function with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and partnership management with international companies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills (Thai and English), with proficiency in negotiation and interpersonal interactions.
- Skilled in data analysis and performance management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive and results-driven, with a growth mindset.
- Adaptable to fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
