Job Summary

The Senior Leader for New Growth & Insurance Team is responsible for driving the new business development strategies, fostering strategic partnerships, and identifying new revenue streams for both international business and insurance services. This role requires an experienced leader who can identify and capitalize on global market opportunities, build and nurture high-value partnerships, and lead a team focused on growing the business through innovative strategies. The Senior Leader will oversee the seamless delivery of end-to-end processes while maintaining the highest standards of customer experience management at every customer touchpoint, ensuring sustainable growth, market leadership, and a competitive advantage within the market.

Job Responsibilities*

New Business Development Strategy:
•    Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities in high-potential markets.
•    Identify new business opportunities and formulate plans to capture new markets and segments, ensuring alignment with the business goals.
•    Ensure effective implementation of the initiatives, regularly evaluating progress and adjusting tactics to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and market conditions.
•    Develop detailed business cases, including market analysis, financial projections, and competitive assessments, to support the launch of new business initiatives.
 Foster a proactive, results-oriented approach within the commercial team, ensuring initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.

Partnership & Strategic Alliances: 
•    Build and manage strategic global partnerships across industries to drive business expansion, deliver incremental value, and enhance customer experience.
•    Identify and negotiate partnerships that align with business growth objectives.
•    Negotiate and close high-value partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to expand the company’s market presence.
•    Cultivate long-term relationships with global partners to maximize collaboration and value.
•    Leverage strategic alliances to build awareness, improve service offerings and create a seamless customer journey.
Monitor partnership performance, ensuring both parties achieve shared objectives and identifying opportunities for improvement or expansion.

Subscriber & Revenue Growth: Focus on increasing brand awareness to drive subscriber growth and improve the penetration rate of existing prepaid and postpaid customers, while also acquiring new customers (non-true) both domestically and internationally. This will generate revenue through the creation, collaboration, implementation, and communication of competitive roaming, IDD and insurance products and services. The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and reduce churn by offering relevant initiatives related to core products, as well as additional value-added services and privileges.
Market Analysis: Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and enhance existing offerings.
Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the success of revenue and portfolio performance; provide regular reports to senior management.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of roaming, IDD and Insurance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
•    Proven track record of driving business growth, revenue generation, and achieving commercial objectives.
•    5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on international business and insurance.
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
•    Fluency in English.
•    Growth mindset with strong drive and agility.
