Job Summary
To support the development and execution of business planning activities that drive growth within the Financial & Professional Services Vertical. The Business Planning Specialist acts as a key enabler, ensuring strategic alignment across business units, deep insight into revenue and market dynamics, and seamless cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance, capture market opportunities, and strengthen competitive positioning.
Job Responsibilities*
- Strategic Business Planning: partnering with the Head of Vertical and Business Unit Heads to design, implement, and monitor vertical growth strategies and key account plans. This includes developing business cases, forecasts, and strategic reports to support effective decision-making.
- Revenue & Market Share Analysis: To involves monitoring both base and new revenue streams across clusters, identifying any deviations from expected performance, and recommending corrective actions. The specialist also provides regular insights into market share trends and formulates plans to improve the performance of underperforming clusters.
- Portfolio Management & Optimization: To conduct comprehensive reviews of the product and solution portfolio within each cluster to assess performance, competitiveness, and areas for improvement. In collaboration with product and marketing teams, they adjust pricing strategies and optimize go-to-market approaches to enhance customer value and drive growth.
- Competitor & Market Intelligence: To analyze competitor offerings, pricing models, and positioning to support proactive and strategic responses. The specialist also develops initiatives aimed at capturing market share in high-growth areas and defending against competitive threats.
- Cross-functional Orchestration & Execution Support: To serve as the central coordination point across sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of vertical initiatives. Additionally, the role leads strategic performance reviews, business planning sessions, and deep-dive meetings with key accounts to ensure continued progress and alignment
- Sales Activity Supervision & Revenue Achievement: To supervise and supports sales activities across clusters to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. This includes providing guidance to sales teams, tracking performance, and implementing initiatives that help maximize profitability and achieve overall revenue targets.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum 5 years of experience in business planning, strategy, or business analytics roles.

Prior experience in B2B or vertical-focused industries (e.g., Financial Services, Consulting, Legal, or Professional Services sectors) is highly desirable.

Experience working in a matrix or cross-functional environment is a plus.

Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

Ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Familiarity with product lifecycle, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies in service-based industries
