Job Summary
Lead, manage, and facilitate cross-functional projects within the Marketing Group, supporting Strategic Project Transformation to ensure successful delivery of projects and programs that meet defined objectives and goals. This includes overseeing initiatives focused on synergy, OPEX and cost optimization, as well as the development of commercial strategies, business models, and commercial alignments.
Job Responsibilities*
Lead, manage, facilitate, and monitor cross-functional projects within the Marketing Group based on assigned tasks. The nature of assignments includes:
- Opportunity identification
- Competitive landscape analysis
- Cost optimization
Key activities include:
- Defining project objectives, scope, timeline, and budget in alignment with project sponsors.
- Coordinating resources, in collaboration with the Programme Management Office, to achieve project goals.
- Creating project plans, including timelines, approaches, and risk mitigation strategies, to ensure objectives are met within scope, budget, and deadlines.
- Executing projects in accordance with the project plan and methodology, managing risks, and monitoring progress to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Communicating with team members and stakeholders to ensure understanding of project goals and methodology.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
- Reporting project status, progress, and any emerging risks to the steering committee.
- Monitoring overall project progress and initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Leading collaboration between Marketing BU and other teams to achieve defined objectives and goals within Strategic Project Transformation.
- Facilitate the annual strategy process and support Business Unit (BU) strategy development. Be accountable for special assignments as allocated by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline required; Graduate degree (MBA) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant business area.
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, retail, and/or FMCG sectors; management consulting experience preferred.
- Proven experience in strategy development, business and operating model design and assessment, analytical techniques, and complex problem-solving.
- Expertise in project planning and management, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
Skills and Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of typical processes, systems, and challenges in the telecom industry and technology-driven environments.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills to assess the business environment and identify opportunities for optimization using data, external benchmarking, competitive intelligence, and fact-based insights, coupled with intuition and foresight.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with proven abilities in influence, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English, with expertise in facilitation, storytelling, and presentation. Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, producing high-quality deliverables with minimal preparation and/or review.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all organizational levels, manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn.
